IRT Boss becomes IGP's Principal Staff Officer

The Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, has appointed CP Tunji Disu as the new Principal Staff Officer to the office of the Inspector-General of Police at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Before his recent appointment, CP Disu was the head of the FIB-Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Abuja. He has served in various capacities in the Force including ADC to Lagos State Governors, and Commander RRS, Lagos, among others.

He holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University. He equally holds another degree in Criminology, Security, and Legal Psychology from Lagos State University

CP Disu is a silver medalist in the 33rd US Open Judo Championship in Brookline, Massachusetts. He loves reading, writing, and sports. He has won several laurels since becoming a Judoka in 1986.
