ASP OFE Makes Another History

...as he wins Bayelsa Open Taekwondo Championships 2022.

The Nigeria Police Force is on the news again for good as ASP Ofe Mordecai who was recently crowned champion at the just concluded 15th Panamai West Africa and Cottage Mills Open Taekwondo Championship in Lagos makes another history by winning the Bayelsa Open Taekwondo championships 2022.

The tough tournament was a National event and had participants from different parts of the country including,  Kano, Nassarawa, Bayelsa,  Akwa Ibom, Ondo,  Lagos, etc. The final fight was between ASP Ofe Mordecai and Afolabi Akolade of Ondo State in the +87KG category which ASP Ofe emerged as the Champion in the event.

Recall that in 2021, ASP Ofe won the 9th IGP's Taekwondo Championship in Lagos where he defeated many professionals to become the champion. The young talented champion is a rare gem with promising future capable of winning an Olympic gold medal for his country, Nigeria.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, has congratulated the young fighter for his spirit of sportsmanship and for maintaining his winning trick. The IGP equally advised other sports lovers in the Force to emulate the young ASP and make the Force as well as the country proud.
